Ksheera karshaka Sangamam 2020

KSHEERA  KARSHAKA SANGAMAM 2020 - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

Kanakakunnu Palace was the venue for the State Ksheera Sangamam 2020, from 25 – 28 February 2020. The four days festival was started by the Vilambara Jatha on 25th February 2020, the flag hoisted by S. Sreekumar, the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation at the Palayam Rakthasakshi Mandapam at 3:30 PM and ended at the Kanakunnu Palace at 4:30 PM. The Vilambara Jatha was followed by the flag hoisting ceremony by Adv.V.K.Prasanth, the Chairman of State  Sangamam 2020, as well as the Vattiyoorkkavu MLA. After the flag hosting the officials of the Department of Dairy Development performed Thiruvathira before the dignitaries and audiences assembled for the inaugural ceremony of Dairy Expo 2020.

On 26th February 2020, at the Nisaganthi Auditorium, the Revenue Minister E P Jayarajan inaugurated the State Ksheera Sangamam 2020. The function was presided over by Adv. K. Raju, the minister of Forest, Dairy Development and Animal Husbandry, J. Marcykutty Amma, the Minister of Fisheries and the MLAs like Adv. V.K. Prasanth, V S Sivakumar were present in that function. The Ksheera Sangamam also celebrated the 40th anniversary of Anand Pattern Co-operative Societies and Mrs Nirmala Kurien, d/o Dr Varghese Kurien shared the memory about her father. 

At the same time, in the stage no.2  of Ksheera Sangamam, Media talk was organised. Media Talk was an innovative idea which was conducted for the first time in any of the state government programs. The Media Talk was with Madhu Sir – ChithramVichithram, Asianet; Pramesh Sir – Vakradrishti, Mathrubhumi; Sajeesh Sir – ThiruvaEthirva, Manorama; Lallu Sir – PushPull, News18; Suraraj Aramanganam Sir - CocktailShow, KairaliTV. The media Talk Show discussed mainly the news based political, sarcastic programs and the problems faced by the people worked behind the screen. The audience for the Media Talk Show was mostly the Press Club students. The open forum inaugurated by the Kerala Governor discussed the future of Anand Model co-operative societies. 

Jwala 2020 (Vanitha Sangamam) was organised on the third day of the State Ksheera Sangamam. Smt. KK Shailaja, the Minister of Health, inaugurated Jwala 2020. Smt. Rakhi Ravikumar (Deputy Mayor), Dr T N Seema (Executive Vice Chairperson Haritha Kerala Mission), Dr Rajashree Warrier (Famous Bharathanatyam Dancer were on the dais.

The State Ksheera Sangamam closing ceremony on 28th February 2020 at 4:00 PM was inaugurated by Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Minister.  Each day was concluded by different cultural programmes performed by Ayyapanum Koshiyum fame Nanchyamma, Jassie Gift. Apart from the public figures the department officials, Society officials and dairy farmers along with their children performed on the State Ksheera Sangamam 2020 cultural evening.
